Wedding registry can be stressful. Luckily, Brides Magazine has compiled a helpful list of the best places to register for everything you could possibly want on a wedding registry. Michael C. First things first. Our consultants are the best in the business. When you make an appointment at Michael C. Fina to set up your wedding registry you can rest assured that you’ll leave with a registry full of beautiful pieces to complete your home with a sense of style that’s true to you. Our flagship store at 500 Park Avenue features the most comprehensive, curated selection of the finest tableware and home decor items on the entire East Coast. We feature designers you’ve known and loved for years as well as up and coming, quality designers, all selected carefully to create a cohesive registry to perfectly complement your style.

Convenience is key when it comes to managing your registry, and you’ve got full control no matter when it is. Whether you visit us on Park Avenue, give us a call, or send us an email, we’re here to help you every step of the way. Changed your mind about a pattern? We’re on it. Need more of a certain place setting? We’ve got you covered. We’ll make sure your registry is updated quickly and consistently when you need it to be.

You also retain full control after all is said and done. Our unique Hold Registry™ allows the registered couple to review all purchases made on their registry before any orders are placed and shipped. This process allows the couple to fine tune their final order and avoid the inconvenience of returns or exchanges. For more information on our registry processes, click here.

The icing on the cake, of course, is the ease of transitioning from selecting home decor items to choosing your wedding bands. Michael C. Fina has hundreds of styles from over 20 top designers so there is a perfect fit for any couple. Additionally, couples that register at Michael C. Fina receive 15% off their wedding band purchase.

Meet Lucas Ruppli

Meet Furrer Jacot Designer Lucas Ruppli - Michael C. Fina

For nearly 20 years, Lucas Ruppli has been Chief of the Design Department at FURRER JACOT in Switzerland, overseeing the development of outstanding luxury partner jewelry.

Lucas Ruppli was born in Schaffhausen, a small town famous in Europe for its gold and silversmith ateliers. This influence, combined with his childhood passion for collecting gemstones, motivated him to become a goldsmith. As the Chief of the Design Department at Furrer Jacot, Switzerland, he is also responsible for the goldsmith students within the company. Mr. Ruppli is constantly teaching willing young apprentices the art of craftmanship and manufacturing of jewelry. In addition, he is a consultant at a technical college for future goldsmiths. In 2000, Mr. Ruppli reached the final of the Diamonds International Awards and in 2004 he was one of the winners of the renowned Diamonds International Awards.

His sources of inspiration are based in so many different fields such as nature, architecture, the society or industrial design. The father of two personally prefers to explain the design idea for each individual as: “I deeply care about creating objects that have shapes and forms and relationships which derive from nature, architecture, society at large or from the mechanical industry. Looking at technical objects, I am interested about the details and on how they are integrated in the whole object.”

The designer also needs peace of mind, physical, mental and emotional well-being in order to be able to create. But the spark itself emerges from something deeper, something that triggers a chain of thoughts that will lead to something as significant as a wedding band. “I combine things that might not fit together,” he says in a calm and reserved voice, “for example, how can I make a wedding ring out of a pigeon that has been run over?” It may sound provocative on the surface, but it makes sense, more often, it may be one of the fundamental laws of creativity. The designer needs the mental tension, the dissonance that seeks a resolution in a finished product.

When a happy couple purchases wedding bands designed by him, then the tension is present as well as the resolution; certainly an excellent prospect for a healthy and harmonious marriage.

A Renaissance Romance

Temple St. Clair's Bridal Collection at Michael C. Fina

“What I love most about Temple St. Clair is that each piece tells a story, whether about history, nature, astrology, or humanity. When you purchase a piece of jewelry from Michael C. Fina, it is helping you create a special moment in your own history.  What better way to commemorate a moment than with a piece that not only conveys beauty, but also deep meaning?”

~Steven Fina

Temple St. Clair’s romantic designs were introduced at Michael C. Fina in February of 2011.  Since then, her distinctive pieces have marked the special moments in the lives of many of our brides and couples.  Temple’s designs are for the woman who embraces the modern world, but who still has a true passion and appreciation for the art, culture, and history of our ancient one.

Temple St. Clair‘s Bridal Collection can be found exclusively in Manhattan at Michael C. Fina.
