Taking the next step in its 77-year evolution as a family-owned and operated retail destination, Michael C. Fina has moved to 500 Park Avenue.  Previously located at Fifth Avenue and 45th Street, the company that began in 1935 as a silver merchant is now celebrated for its unique collection of engagement rings, wedding bands, and its wedding registry.

“We’ve set the tables of clients’ grandparents, their parents, and now them.  Our store spans three generations and so do our clients.  We’ve become an icon to New Yorkers when they are getting married,” said Steven Fina, President, Michael C. Fina.  “We’ve become part of families’ traditions, and not many companies can say that, especially retailers in Manhattan.”

According to Mr. Fina, many similar businesses have closed in recent years while Michael C. Fina has continued to grow and evolve.  Couples, including first families and royalty, have been choosing its registry programs for decades, due to the concierge-level service and the exclusive designers offered, including Hermes, Bernardaud, Christofle, and Saint-Louis Crystal.  Michael C. Fina’s Ring Gallery houses the largest selection of engagement rings and wedding bands on the East Coast from top design houses such as Tacori, Hearts On Fire, Mark Patterson, and Michael B.  Classic and elegant jewelry pieces from designers like Temple St. Clair and Mikimoto are also showcased.

As the company continues to help New Yorkers build their own distinctive lifestyles, its new location in an upscale Park Avenue shopping area ensures that the company will continue its evolution for many future generations.

At Michael C. For all couples with an active wedding registry at Michael C. Fina, we would like to extend 15% off towards their wedding band purchase.  With over 20 different designers displayed in our ring gallery, each couple is bound to find the perfect ring (or rings!) in one of our various styles.

To inquire about our registry process or the rings in our gallery, please email or post a question in the comments below or on our Facebook page.  You can also stop into our store on Park Avenue to view everything in person.

Lifetime Satisfaction

Your love has grown over the years.  Why shouldn’t your diamond?

Michael C. Fina is dedicated to ensuring your satisfaction forever.  We understand that there is no other ring that will ever replace the first in your memories, but should you wish to purchase a diamond that is even one dollar more than the original, we will credit the full price of the first diamond toward your purchase of another.

Anniversaries, vow renewals, new additions to the family…there is always a perfect time to upgrade the diamond you purchased at Michael C. Fina.  Any engagement ring diamond, stud earrings, or solitaire pendant from Michael C. Fina can be upgraded at any time as part of our diamond upgrade policy.

A Cause Close to the Fina Family

Steve Cody is the managing partner and co-founder of Peppercom.

Recently, I’ve had the great opportunity to work with Michael C. Fina.  As I’ve gotten to know the Fina family, I’ve had the opportunity to learn more about the their deep commitment to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).  In 2009, Charlie Fina passed away after a three-year battle with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia.  Since then, the Finas have worked tirelessly to support the effort in finding a cure for blood cancer.

Inspired by their efforts, I am running for the title of Man & Woman of the Year.  From now through May 17, I’m competing to raise funds for LLS.  Since 1949, the survival rate for many blood cancer patients has doubled or tripled and in some cases quadrupled.  With your help, we can make strides toward eliminating these illnesses for good.

There are a few ways you can help. Click here to visit my donation page. You are also welcome to attend my next fundraising event where I’ll host and headline a stand-up comedy show:

When: Wednesday, May 2nd at 6:30pm

Where: The Broadway Comedy Club

Reservations: Online or by phone (212-931-6117)

I hope you’ll support this great cause. Please leave a comment if you’ve been touched by someone with leukemia or lymphoma like Charlie Fina.
