2015 Summer Tableware – Top Picks

For our final round up of summer tableware, we’re sticking to a classic style. If you missed our first two posts, don’t worry! Take a look here and here.

We love stylish new patterns to spice things up, but there’s something to be said for a classic table setting. Today we’ve selected three beautiful tableware patterns just perfect for summer.

Coralina by Vista Alegre

Summer Tableware - Michael C. Fina

First up, Coralina by Vista Alegre. Based upon the designs of an Oscar De La Renta dress from September 2006, this pattern brings haute couture to the table in a refined style perfect for any situation. Floral style with graphic accents, all in eye-catching red, this design is great for a laid back summer dinner party.

Tulipes Noir by Gien

Summer Tableware - Michael C. Fina

Tulipes Noir by Gien is an amazing balance between natural design and modern style. The sketch-like floral designs are just enough to create a simple but interesting canvas. Pair this pattern with some bold and colorful table accents for a full contrast effect.

Belle Epoque by Haviland

Summer Tableware - Michael C. Fina

If you want to feel like you’re in Paris at the height of the Art Nouveau movement, consider Belle Epoque by Haviland. The structured design elements pull from the architecture of Parisian underground stations, created by Hector Guimard. When paired with simple but structured glassware, it creates a perfect sense of seasoned style.

Bronson van Wyck and Celerie Kemble created a fantastic set of tables using Michael C. Fina’s extensive collection of tableware, combining styles to create scenes from far off places, such as “Sundowners on the Serengeti Plains” and “The Rug Merchant’s Banquet.” The tables pulled from van Wyck and Kemble’s world travels, from Cape Town, Africa to Morocco, and even van Wyck’s childhood, growing up in Arkansas.
