Michael C. Fina,  Platinum Guild Interntational (PGI) & Social Diva New York held a
“Platinum Jewelry & Champagne Soiree”  on October 28th at Soho House New York.

Guests were invited to sip champagne, enjoy passed hors d’ourerves and try on over 60 platinum and diamond engagement rings courtsey of Michael C. Fina.  Each ring fell into one of 4 categories:  Classic, Modern, Vintage, or Romantic.

With so many dazzling options it was hard for our diva guests to pick their favorite, but photos were snapped of their top picks. Here are a few of ours:

Marna Varney of Varney Contracting & Design unveiled her beautiful tablescapes at a cocktail reception held at Michael C. Fina on October 22. 2009.  Nearly 100 guests were in attendence and enjoyed champagne and lucious cheese spreads while feasting their eye’s on Marna’s two tables.

Marna Varney of Varney Contracting & Design has designed yet another awe-inspiring table that we love to feast our eyes on! The newest table, entitled ” Royal Ascot” can be seen only at Michael C. Fina for a limited time.  Marna will officially unveil her two designs and greet guests tomorrow night at a reception held at Michael C. Fina.  Pre-registration was required to attend.

Michael C. Fina, New York City’s exclusive carrier of Hearts On Fire, The World’s Most Perfectly Cut Diamond,  will be introducing new pieces into our already extensive collection.

On October 15, 2009, team Michael C. Fina took part in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s annual walk, “Light The Night” in Manhattan for the third consecutive year.

Michael C. Fina is a National Supporting Sponsor of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). As such, we have committed to raising $150,000 + this year alone.

Team Michael C. Fina will also walk at the Queens “Light The Night” walk on Saturday October 17, 2009.

Esteemed designer Marna Varney of Varney Contracting & Design has set up shop at Michael C. Fina! Marna’s table from the 2009 Hamptons Classic (featuring tableware from Michael C. Fina) is on display at our store.  Marna will also be demonstrating her eye for design with another rustic-themed table later this week.

The “Platinum Wedding Gown,” is an exclusive collaboration between leading wedding planner and host of WEtv’s “My Fair Wedding,” David Tutera, and renowned jewelry designer, Erica Courtney.

The one-of-a-kind gown was revealed as the grand finale at David Tutera’s highly anticipated runway fashion show introducing the new “David Tutera by Faviana” wedding dress collection on September 22, 2009, at Gotham Hall in New York City.

With a platinum-colored tulle veil and bouquet to match, the “Platinum Wedding Gown” was the show-stopper and the pinnacle of his new collection.

The dress is ornamented with 10 feet of platinum chain, 33 carats of diamonds, 145.84 carats of aquamarine, white keshi pearls and topped with a stunning white south sea pearl pendant suspended from platinum.

It is valued at over $500,000 and is available for purchase at Michael C. Fina.

Michael C. Fina’s “Diamond Dash: Dash for a Diamond & a Cure” was held on Saturday, September 12.
