Michael C. Fina

Peek Inside, Talk To The Experts

A Cause Close to the Fina Family

Steve Cody is the managing partner and co-founder of Peppercom.

Recently, I’ve had the great opportunity to work with Michael C. Fina.  As I’ve gotten to know the Fina family, I’ve had the opportunity to learn more about the their deep commitment to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).  In 2009, Charlie Fina passed away after a three-year battle with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia.  Since then, the Finas have worked tirelessly to support the effort in finding a cure for blood cancer.

Inspired by their efforts, I am running for the title of Man & Woman of the Year.  From now through May 17, I’m competing to raise funds for LLS.  Since 1949, the survival rate for many blood cancer patients has doubled or tripled and in some cases quadrupled.  With your help, we can make strides toward eliminating these illnesses for good.

There are a few ways you can help. Click here to visit my donation page. You are also welcome to attend my next fundraising event where I’ll host and headline a stand-up comedy show:

When: Wednesday, May 2nd at 6:30pm

Where: The Broadway Comedy Club

Reservations: Online or by phone (212-931-6117)

I hope you’ll support this great cause. Please leave a comment if you’ve been touched by someone with leukemia or lymphoma like Charlie Fina.
